Okay,

so heres my question - and i actually signed up for this forum just for it..

okay, i'm a personal user, not usually picking up more than a zip at a time. and i notice, every once in a while, that i'll get a batch of bud that tastes different.... id say prolly 1 of 10

different, and not in a good way.

usually i always get what we call "kine bud", which is a step down from heddies but still extremely good, and very well praised amongst people ive shown from other states. and about 10 a gram, or 200-230 a zip.

anyways, every once in a while i get a bud that just tastes different, and each time i get this different tasting one it has the same distinct bad taste. my question is does anyone know what this is from? is it grown improperly? maybe not given enough of a certain chemical/fertilizer???

I doubt its something they're sprayed down with, i always weigh my buds and its always of the best quality. i wish i could describe the taste, its bad. maybe like wd 40 lol, if anyone knows what that tastes like ( i fuckin dont). but anyone that uses a vaporizer knows that when u vape the bud always tastes AMAZING (unless its almost done), and this is just not the case with these nugs. on the first hit its already tasting gross, and they smell great and look great. i dont think youd be able to realize this with smoking, which is why im reaching out to the vape community.

anyways - any help is apreciated!

I dont know why it tastes bad, but I know what you're talking about. I don't know what type of vape you're using, or if it would even make a difference, but I like to use mint leaves in my volcano to combat shitty tasting weed. A little goes a long way and it does a nice job of masking the taste.
