Can't smoke ever again cause of some Surgery I had on my lungs, so I'm ordering the volcano vape on ebay. How legit is the volcano? Does it give you the same high as smoking? Anything I should know about this top knotch device? Any tips or advice on how to mantain this device would be greatly appreciated. I've never vaped before.

i have never vaped before either, but from the people i have talked to they are great. i would love to get one but they are pricey, and those who i spoke with say go for the expensive models, as the hundred dollar ones dont work so well....but personally i dont really know.

I feel like the high is compleatly different, it is much "cleaner" and energized. Ive never used the volcano, but I have used the vape brothers machine and it worked awesome. The newer ones have a 100% ceramic heating element, so it is extremely safe and healthy to use. Hope that helps, good luck!

I'd qualify that statement a little. $50 butane powered vapes like the VapoGenie and Vaporstar work well with the proper technique, and for $120 you can get a very good, very reliable, standard Vaporcannon with a 5 yr warranty. The cheaper, no-name, or off brand whip models would worry me. Most of the bargain box vapes you can get on ebay have no warranty.

I have recently been enjoying the volcano classic vape and let me just say it is the bomb...it conserves weed and enhances the flavour while gettin you sooooo blazed...the only downside i can think of is the price...but if it were me, i would splurge and get the new digital model........

As legit as it gets. Not the same high exactly. As SparkSomeChange said, it's a cleaner high, and that also is a big part of the difference in effect. With vapor, at least in the 'clean vaping range' (about 5.5-6 on the 'cano), you don't get the toxins that are released at high temps and with combustion, and those are sleep inducing in the doses you get with smoking, so you retain more energy than with smoke.

So your saying it gives you a cleaner and more energetic high?(meaning I won't instantly crash?lol) But it is still enjoyable as much as smoking out of...lets say.. a bong?

Not if you enjoy instant stuporfication . The difference in effect is between vapor and smoke as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't matter much how you get your smoke or vapor. As far as the actual hits, I use the bag method and whip method, and consider bag hits to be sort of the opposite of bong hits. Every hit from a bag is the same, potentially. The vapor's all in the bag and only the size of your draws on the bag give you any difference. Most whip vapes can give richer vapor hits. By that I mean you can get more vapor for the same volume of air vs. bagged vapor. I think the SSV gives the richest hits of any of the vapes I've used. Direct draw hits are inconsistent vs. bags, but I enjoy the experience of not really knowing how big of a hit I'm gonna get.

I've got a Volcano Classic and let me tell you, that machine is the shit. I've tried some other vapes and they just don't compare. If you're buying it on Ebay, I'd suggest getting the one that comes with the case and all the other free shit.

iv had the volcano maybe 2 years now,,,,,,,, you WONT be dissapointed,,,,,,,, it rocks

So what are the other vapes that don't compare? And why? I'll be happy to put in my 2 cts on specific comparisons. You don't have to spend $500+ to get an excellent vape, either bag or whip method. Nothing wrong with getting a top rated vape from the biggest vape company in the world, but "nothing compares"? I'll argue that point any day.

ve had mine jus over a year an nothing can compare in terms of flavour an high its all i use to smoke an it never lets me down.

Please explain how the Volcano has the best flavor. Since bagged vapor, by design, is more diluted with air, the taste is lighter than the standard whip vape. Not to say you and others don't prefer it, but most would say regular beer tastes better than light. And since the vaporizing process is a very simple one-apply the correct temperature range and get vapor-there's no scientific basis for claiming the effect is any better from a 'cano. I like bagged vapor myself, but taste and 'the best high' aren't advantages.

in terms of flavor, i think the 'cano does a great job. Only problem is for me, is it amplifies the taste. You can drop shitty weed in a bowl and not have it bother you too much. But if I drop shitty weed in the volcano, I find that I can taste it much more... meaning that the Volcano only comes out when there's good shit in town lol.

In terms of whip vs bag, I find that the all glass whip has the best taste. The tube whips taste more like plastic and dont bring out the weed taste for me. The bags are great, but the closer they get to the end of their life, the more they taste like that generic 'popcorn vaped weed' smell/taste.
