EZ vape VS. Hot Box
So I did some research to find a decent price good quality vape. Ended up ordering the Hot Box
I read some good reviews on it and it cost $149, but I found another vaporizer on the same website for the same price, called Easy Vape. It looked very nice and I'm not sure if I made the right decision...
Should I cancel my order and get the Easy Vape instead of the Hot box?
Anybody know anything about either vape???
Again: Hot Box, Easy Vape
Thanks!!

I've had a hotbox vape for about 5 months with no problems, gets me ripped and its nice having the whip horizontal rather than pointing down cuz the weeds a bitch to pack and place onto the vape if its the other kind. no worries on the hotbox

I don't like digital on whip vapes. I think it's bad news waiting to happen, even on the $500 models. You just don't need it and it makes a breakdown much more likely vs. a simple analog vape. At least the Easy Vape has a 5 year warranty. OTOH you can't contact the maker of Easy Vape. That always makes me uneasy. Is it made in the US? China? Will they stay in business for 5 years? And I hate that typical downward whip angle. Of course you can turn it on its side or even upside down, but then the display is hard to read.
The Hotbox is a proven design. It heats up to vaping range and stays there, so you don't have to worry about a temp control going bad. I'd stick with that choice.

Good idea. I did. My lungs couldn't take smoke anymore. I've been strictly vaping for over 2 years and don't miss smoke even a little bit.
Why are so concerned about one person who doesn't vape much anymore? He obviously wasn't sufficiently motivated to switch. Quite a few people hear things like 'vapor gets you higher', 'vapor saves you herb'. Some people are just curious. Some find that they like the couch lock you get with smoke. If you gave up cigarettes for your health, think about the crap you don't get with vapor-carbon monoxide, benzene-both deadly in high doses and sleep inducing at the lower levels you get with smoke. Toluene is another- a solvent with intoxicating fumes (at low doses). The effect of these toxins are mostly what people miss with vapor. Vapor leaves you with more energy and even with a heavy dose late at night, you don't get any foggy feeling the next day.
If smoke doesn't bother you there's not as much incentive to go to the extra trouble and expense of vaporizing. But if you're looking for a healthier, stealthier high, with no harsh, nasty tasting (poisonous) smoke, you'll love vapor. You can tell I do.

thanks man, actually, i'd planned on getting a vaporizer for the reasons you mention, that's why i'm reading posts about vape's.
like i said, $150.00 - $200.00 is a fair chunck of my monthly budget so i can't afford to buy the wrong one. i guess i'm concerned because i'd never heard of anyone using a quality vaporizer before and then opting not to use it anymore, i wondered WHY.
anyway, thanks for your response man

I don't have enough experience with different models to recommend much, but if you could find a deal of the HerbalAire, it's well worth it. I recently got it for $250, but I didn't shop around much - just went with a place that puts ads on this site. You may be able to track one down on Ebay of somewhere for $200 or $225.
It's very efficient, and I can already see that it's going to make my weed last much longer than pipes, bongs and joints. I'd estimate that for almost daily use I'll only need to buy a max of between and ounce or two a year of various good stuff with this vape - but I'm older an don't need as much as I did in my teens through 30's.
I've even vaped stuff that had been previously used in a VaoprGenie pipe, and the HerbalAire extracted additional THC from the remains.
Whatever unit you get I'm sure will be fine. Da Budda looks like a good choice for 150 bucks.

Happy birthday, you're not far behind me. It's harder to find sources for supply at my age, considering at one time I was a source sometimes.
Yeah, I think Mickey Mantle said that line about living long. He had a history of premature deaths in his family.

me too, lol
i've lived most of my life thinking i was on borrowed time, lol.
my dad died when i was 15 of malignant melanoma or 'skin' cancer if you believe it. that was back in 1970 so medical science has progressed some since then. he died 2 months before his 36th birthday so i have him beat all to hell.
don't mean to sound callous, it's just been a very long time. i grieved for him for a long time but 38 years is long enough to adjust,
lol.
oh, and i didn't mean to come across like that was my original thought, just didn't remember who said it originally.
and i can relate about the 'sources' being harder to come by at our age, that's a big part of why i decided to grow, that and the money and the quality. i'm SOOOOO sick of middies, lol

I didn't think you were trying to pass it off as your original thought, it's a common expression, and I say it myself, but many people forget Mantle said it.
When I was 15, my mom died of thyroid cancer at 39 years old. My father made it until his late 50's. I've taken many precautions to make sure that I survive better, and it seems to be working. I was quite sick, for most of my life, until it became intolerable and I found out I had Celiac disease and went on the correct diet. This autoimmune disease was probably what caused my parent's problems, since it's genetic, but we didn't know they may have had it.
I wish I could grow, but I don't have good electricity, for the lights, in my apartment. Maybe I'll figure out a way to do it one day, but since I don't need much weed it's less of a hassle to buy it from someone - as long as they're able to get it themselves. Cheers!

I qualify for the 'old folks club' too. Turned 57 in March. I've been digging my fingernails in for the last 10 years though, trying to stop the downhill slide. Age really is just a number if you can get the right mindset (and have a little luck )

Diet's for sure a big part of 'health or no health'. Gotta get the right stuff in and keep the wrong stuff out.

I just think its easier to roll one or load a bowl, and sometimes I like the bake I get from plain smoking better. But theres time when that good vap just sets the day or the mood, ya know, I guess i just like to keep changing it up all the time, even when smoking Ill jay for a while then Ill bong thenn another week ill pipe, or a week ill do all, like right now I smoking Jay, just to get up on my rolling skill (allot of flaming back flips smoking here). But yesterday I was at a friends for a couple hours and he was vaping, and it hit realy good, so yesterday I vaped after cominh home, and now im smoking Jays, and sometimes

I recommend the Hot Box all the way. It's cheap, looks very discrete, and can get a lot of people very high very quickly. Not sure about the EZ Vape, but the Hot Box is an actual company and there's a warranty and everything. They have accessories and replacement parts right on their website and other online sites for cheap as well.

Just wanted to ad that hotbox is a great company with great support. I broke my whip within seconds of pulling it out of the box and sent them an email asking hot to get a replacement. They called me back the next day and were really cool. I was pretty impressed with the quick response.

I ordered myself the Hotbox a few months back online while working long distance (still am, abstained from smoking for 4 months now, got another 2 months to go :P)...
However, I had the opportunity to fly back home for a week off a few weeks ago and I came home, got the Hotbox out, and sadly found out its the US plug - The design itself looks very neat.
Luckily I wasn't planning on toking up
So yeah, for those people out of the Unites States, I'd be cautious of this, just a heads up.
