is there a way to clean all the vape res thats built up in the class piece and tubing or do i basically have to buy a new one? afraid to pull the glass out of the tubing cause i dont know if you can get it back in afterwards or if its glued or what. any help would be apreciated. by the way i have the vapor bros non-hands free model with the upadated heating element. where you gotta hold the bowl to the heating element to hit it each time.

Ha. Bought a vapor bros a bit ago. Sadly, I had to shell out another $25 for a hose, as I vaped way more than any mortal should and clogged my hose with resin within 2 weeks!

This is an art...

1. Remove bowl piece from hose. It just pops off if ya pull...

2a. After removing old screen, use a skewer stick to scrape resin off inside. Use a circular motions, pressing stick firmly against inside of bowl piece. Try forcing the resin down through the thin end of the bowl piece and it will press out like spaghetti noodle thin but long bits of vape resin. Approximately 15 minutes if bowl piece is completely covered with resin, such that seeing into or through the lower portion of the bowl piece is not possible.

OR: 2b. Hopefully you have big hands. After screen is removed, use your middle finger to cover the small end of the bowl piece. Use a funnel to pour a bit of drinking grade ethanol (everclear) or high proof vodka into the larger end of the bowl piece. Then use your thumb (while still capping the narrow end with middle finger) to cover the large end of the bowl piece. Shake the ethanol around inside the bowl piece for a minute or so, don't lose your grip or you are fucked. This solvent will instantly clean bowl piece. You can drink the mixture if you like, but mix with something, as pure ethanol is hazardous to drink. (Don't take shots of high proof liquor ever, make a margarita or some shit instead.) Then pour more ethanol into bowl piece to clean anymore resin if necessary, shake around again. This won't be very potent though likely, so if you add it to the first batch it will just dilute the first, more potent batch.
Approximate time: 2 minutes, plus drying time.

3. Then for the hose, use the skewer again and circular, pressing motions. You have to scrape the vape resin out on the skewer, use another skewer or a paper clip to try to get the resin off into a metal bottle cap or other tiny container. And repeat. This takes a bit of time, so vape first. Arguably more difficult than scraping the bowl piece.
Approximate time: 15 minutes for 5 inches of resin covered hose.

The vape resin must have some potency, perhaps not as high as hash though. Anyone have any info on this?

Because there is no combustion, this resin should not be toxic, and should be able to be smoked or perhaps pressed and vaped or consumed orally with either oil(s) (lipids) or ethanol.

I doubt it could be all that potent though, as even when vaping low grade erb, resin build-up occurs rather quickly, and these resins collected are just a fraction of what was on the leaf, as I likely ingested the majority of it, as vaping is rather efficient.

Guess human studies are needed, report back!

so i can just pop the glass pieces straight out clean them and then pop them back into place alright?

and im using the one that came with it if that helps. i might go later today to get one with a decoration of some sort on it.

I scrape the buildup from my vape tube with a uncoiled coathanger and then spread it on top of a bowl of weed, the texture is very much like loose keef. It fucks me up hardcore, like not moving for a couple hours hardcore. Very much like good hash.

i dont really wanna go through the pain of taking out the screen cause i dont have a new one anyways. i dont have any hard alcohol on hand, could i use formula 420 on the glass pieces you think with the screen inside?
