Meeting/Get-together for Hempfest
I think it's time for all fellow Cann.Com to meet in person before going into the Hempfest. Last year we had about a half dozen meet for a beer at
Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub - Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub - Seattle, Portland & San Francisco
1916 Post Aly, Seattle - (206) 728-1916
They had some chairs and tables out in the alley, we chuggled a pint of Guinness (or whatever) and then all walked to the Hempfest from there.
I am calling for all who are interested in meeting there to be at the Pub between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm on Saturday Aug 18th. Wear a little tag either on your shirt or your hat "Cann.Com" and you will be recognized!
Around 3pm we shall all walk to the Hempfest together.

I'll be there ... Sam, if I see you I'll be sure to say hi. Anyone else ... either you know me, or you're not going to.

Damn, got to do the work thing that weekend. Wish I could meet you all. Need some new contacts. Guinness and herb, my two favorites.
Maybe next year. Enjoy!

I have made plans to make it to hempfest for two years, and this year me and my wife are going to finally make it.
It is nice to hear that there are buds and stuff there; sounds like just what I have been looking for..a GREAT time to be had by all
We might make it to Kells for a brew..but one thing that you can count on is that we are going to be at the Hempfest in 2007

Is Fun?
Me and my husband just moved to Washington. We've never been to the hempfest here, is it fun?? Maybe it's a good place to meet some new friends. We live near Chehalis. I have never even been to Seattle yet. We'll be there for sure!

Back in the late 80's the Rainbow family used to have a big get together just south of Oly in a place Little Rock in the late summer. Do some googleing and you may find some info.

This is probably gonna sound like bullshit, but I have some dear friends that are my parent's age that know Ed Rhosenthal very well. They usually work the booth that Ed is at each year during Hempfest Seattle and invited me to join them. They said he LOVES helping people that are new to the game so should be a star-struck day for me

That place to me always seemed to have a less-than-mellow crowd (definately NOT condusive to trippin')
I havent been to the Oregon Country Fair in like 15 years or so....i heard that place now has feds all over the place. There is no nudity and no public consumption. ANyone been there lately?
