The Supreme courts latest ruling on employees and medical marijuana favors the employer.HIPPAA can protect you to some degree,but your Employer has the right to fire you if they find out.

What you need to consider is using pills for short term management to retake the test,and pass it if you get fired or quit your job and find another before they can get any results..CDL jobs are plentiful and getting re hired should not be a problem if you can find the right employer.

As long as you dont hit the scales,or cross state lines or give them access to a UA then you should be able to stay employed.

If you make it a big deal and stick out your current employer may brand you for your next job.

I see CDL jobs all over that I think a patient could do under the radar.They may only pay hourly but it is employment,and those employers are finding it hard to find CDL drivers.

Synthetic urine works fine for DOT tests. Whether its pre-emplyement, random or roadside tests. You just have to be prepared. The biggest issue is if you get involved in an accident, even if its not your fault and you get hauled away in an ambulance. And they run the tests at the hospital. Its sad that when you take a piss test they are basically testing for weed.... I could take a hit of Acid or snort some Coke on Friday take a piss test on Monday or Tuesday and I would come up clean....Smoke some weed and 2 weeks later I would still test positive

I was Steve Sarich's "bitch boy" for 4 months. I worked my ass off for him because I was Brainwashed into thinking he was personally fighting for Washington's Medical patients. I left on Memorial Day because I couldn't take the mental and verbal abuse any longer. I as well as a briliant young woman packed our stuff while he was sleeping and left so that there was no "situation" that may have gotten out of hand. Today I started recieving phone calls from MY patients asking what happend and told me the lies Steve told them. All of them knew he was full of BS except one that decided to join Steve's slander and posted this on the cannacare forum:

This makes me ill. I want to puke! People that we feel we can trust and rely on are turning around stabbing us in the back! You wonder why your calls weren't getting returned or even answered? It turns out that while the cat is away the mice will play! These two yahoo's were drinking their days away and ignoring the calls. So all those sincere apologizes from the both of them? Yup BS.

I am pleading with this community. PLEASE! We need good, honest, loyal people to help. On top of this we need proffesionals. Now I know that is a steep request, but if you feel you have a special skill or expertise that you could freely volunteer to help maintain it's community, please call SteveS and let him know what it is and how you can assist.

Let me take you step by step thru this web of delusional lies....
First, the only thing we took was our own personal belongings. IF Steve ever thought we deserved money, we used it to buy things to make us happy. Second, he HELPED us?! NEVER did we get a "pat on the back" from this man. We worked 24/7 (almost literally) to keep our patients happy. To us it was never about making money or the status. We were doing it for our friends. We were both sleeping on the couch while Hitler slept on a King sized bed. How is THAT generous?

As far as the phones not getting answered? Let's do the math. 2 volunteers answering 6 phone lines. There is NO possibility! And while he went to play in California on money we earned for the cause, we continued to work. No we weren't drinking the days away that would be Steve. Yes a gallon of Scotch a day.... Doesn't sound like a flu to me. We were nothing but kind to his addiction. Truthfully... We had to be at his beck and call at all hours of the day. If we missed someones phone call, we were probably doing something pointless for Steve (i.e. cleaning the house)

So if any of Steve's "patients" are reading this, I myself am pleading with YOU. Don't give into this man's BS! He is not in it for you! No he won't protect you if you get a Sentry authorization! The State has laws to protect you! Ask him what cases he has ever won? Look them up! Not once did he have any hand in it! He will try to scare you to get your money!

The organizational structure of Cannacare has always suffered from Steve's vacationing.All of this stuff has been said before many times.I have been at odds with him for many years on this subject.I had to call him out on it when I was a member and after.

The only thing that kept me involved was his in state activism. As far as that goes he is better than Hiatt ,Martinez,Steinborn and all the rest.However he was not a good leader of men and women.He suffered from a perpetual imbalance that always left others hankering for their trip to nova scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun.Between that and the man of a thousand clones he chased away many good people.

I bare a grudge against him for tagging along with my activism efforts that were financed by my social security or lawsuit earnings.He never once offered to pay for any of them and always took credit for them in the media.
From the start I would put aside the claims that he was an agent provactuer or fed,because he would at least show up for drill and man the podium.

It is too bad his taste for California activism issues continues to get the best of Cannacare. He does know now where the line of scrimmage is here in Washington,and he needs to stay on that line or move to California and hob nob with the high profilers down there.

I have been getting many phone calls from MY patients from when I was at C.C. saying they were on the forums and saw another members message to Steve. For some reason, they banned me from the forum so I had to "sneak" in to read it.

hi, steve...just to let you know, I got a phone call this morning from "jason" whom I met up at the island last week during a supply run. He was soliciting me as a provider client, and explained that you two have "split the sheets." He's offering a delivery service. I told him no thanks, that I'm sticking with my existing system. Just thought you should know, as he may be contacting others, as well. It was disturbing that he had my phone number.

First off, I have no idea who this member is so there is no way I could have his/her number. Secondly, I have wanted to be done with CannaCare since I left. That is why I left! To this day I still direct my patients to Steve explaining that I no longer am affiliated with him. Now I hear that no one is answering the phones at Sentry and there are MANY cards that are about to expire. If they didn't "revoke" mine, it would be time to renew soon as well!

So other than needing to vent, I wanted to voice my side of this apparently never ending drama that seems to haunt me. Hopefully someone from the CC forum will read this and maybe speak on my behalf. Not really off topic, more of a delusional coincidence.... I once knew a Jason that ran a delivery service called Homegrown Helpers.... Their cousin ripped me off while they were "out of town" I called several times and was completely ignored... UNTIL....

Starting ON thanksgiving day... I began to receive multiple calls per day from Jason wanting to "get together"....

Jason never wanted to get together with me before, he just wanted my money.... Now out of nowhere, he NEEDS to get a hold of me NOW!!!

The problem is we do need a leader. Nothing gets done without some sort of public figure who is articulate on the issues and isn't afraid to openly debate anyone, anytime. Steve of course is not the right person. His is purely a financial interest in this issue. There needs to be some changes in our state laws for MMJ patients and we need someone to push us forward on that.
