Hi ya'll! I have a question for my fellow womens. I fell in love with a boy in HS, I've talked about him before here. He broke my heart and I see him every few years, sleep with him a few times and we part ways again. Weve tried to stay away, but it seems like our paths just cross, and we kept pretending we could be friends. A few years ago, we found each other again after about three years, and ended up in bed again. It was a normal encounter. It wasnt overtly romantic, but it wasntt animalictic either. well, he kissed me and laid me back while he was on top kissing me, and I swear I heard music. It was sort of a hight pitched pipe music, sort of far away-ish. I stopped him cause Im like WTF is that? I Couldnt hear it, then when he kissed me again, it started back up. It threw me cause that had never happened, and hasnt happened since, even though Ive slept with him since.. ALOT. Has this Ever happened to anyone? I always thought it was because we hadnt been together in a while and the emotion just got to me, but if so, it would have happened again right? did I love him more then than now? actually, i do, but the time before last I loved him just as much and nothing.. The good news is, cause of this last time, and the shit he pulled, he killed the last of the love I had for him. I decided I will not shed another tear. Hooray for me!! Im FREEEEEE!!!!

What I noticed was that, he was really my first love, and I won't stop loving him, I'm just not in love with him. Does that make sense? I'll always remember how happy he made me, but I don't let him run my life anymore.

I think it's more of a pyschological thing, that you think you can be more than friends. You want to be, but logically, it didn't work for a reason. It's just the battle between heart and mind.

You don't want to see him again because you want it to be completely over, but you need to see him for closure.
